What You’ll Do
Design integration and growth strategy with key payments partners (such as top tier card-issuing banks) to improve GMV, revenue and chargeback losses to improve Wish’s payment processing environment
Identify opportunities and collaborate with card associations, processors, and vendors to improve payment and risk processes; be an advocate for Wish with strategic partners
Establish and execute on a pipeline of work with acquirers, issuers and other payments service providers/ vendors
Build solutions to scale Wish’s payments ecosystem as the company expands into new markets and segments
Enrich Wish’s payments platform by managing payment routing, acquiring strategy, retry methodology, with a focus on cost savings and approval optimization
Innovate and be creative; develop new systems and processes to execute Wish’s payment acceptance goals
Analyze, measure and execute strategic payment and risk initiatives
Improve user experience for buyer authentication, payment authorization, and abuse management across the Risk & Payments stack
Work cross-functionally and collaborate with payments engineering, data science, policy and operations to deliver impactful results to support business growth
Who You Are
6+ years of business development or product management experience, 3+ years in eCommerce, social networks, or payment-related business lines
Strong understanding of payments globally, developing risk controls, and defining cost/benefit tradeoffs for senior management
Experience working with acquiring and issuing banks as well as PSPs and other payments-related entities
Proven track record building global platforms and collaborating with external stakeholders
Strong understanding of revenue maximization and loss minimization using a data driven approach and A/B testing
Contribute to the long and short term Risk & Payments product roadmap
Not afraid to roll up sleeves to build code and analyze data hands on in SQL/Python/R environment
Passionate can do attitude. Not afraid to try, learn, and improve, ability to work in a fast paced team environment
Bachelors or Masters degree in Mathematics, Sciences, Engineering or related field (MBA is a plus)
