Requirements
Proven experience as a Solution Architect with deep OSS / BSS expertise in at least a few large scale projects in the Telecoms sector
Proven experience in backend systems integration strategies (API based, ETL, Bus etc.)
Up to speed with the latest architectural and engineering best practices – example, mobile development for iOS and Android, Micro-Services, Cloud Architecture, Continuous
Beyond OSS / BSS experience, the Solution Architect is also expected to have the following understanding &

Capabilities:
OSS / BSS
System experience with Customer Relationship Management, Charging / Billing, Workforce Management, etc.
API experience with development & QA testing
Software application development
Agile/Scrum methodology
DevOps and CI/CD implementation
Software Development Life Cycle (software design, development and implementation, testing)
Microservice architecture & Containers (e.g. Kubernetes, Openshift)

Responsibilities
Working closely with technical teams
Understanding, reviewing and explaining architecture/design
Identify technical risks to delivery
Clearly communicate with customer stakeholders about various architectural decisions, constraints, and considerations
Evaluate potential vendors to work with based on client’s existing architecture
Understand Backend System API Architecture and provide documentation for detailed mapping with digital touchpoints
Understand best-in-class QA process for backend APIs (e.g. consistency, performance)
Implement Mockup APIs & automated API testing
