Senior Contract Analyst – Schlumberger

Job Summary
The Contracts Analyst is an intermediate position for the client contracts management function. He / She is a key member of the team, who under the supervision of the Contracts Manager is responsible and accountable for the overall management of client contracts and for the ongoing support during the whole life-cycle of contracts from inception to signature, through its maturity and eventually archiving, at a certain assigned location/segment/category (depending on assignment).
The Contracts Analyst position is a key development assignment that should lead to further responsibilities and autonomy within the client contracts function. He / She will be reporting to Country Contracts Manager.

Responsibilities
Reviews, proposes revisions, negotiates, drafts and develop client contracts whenever necessary using Schlumberger’s guideline.
Work closely with client contracts team with respect to subcontracts.
Monitors purchase orders to ensure compliance with Schlumberger policies, highlights and reports any deviations from our Client Contracts Risk Standard.
Assists the Contract Manager in the tender evaluation, assessment and response process to ensure that ALL contract-related terms and conditions (whether legal or commercial) are properly addressed.
Completes a contracts rating sheet for each contract reviewed and ensures these are electronically filed in CMM.
Promotes and ensures compliance with the relevant Schlumberger contracts policies, standards, and procedures.
Manages and administers contract related records in the relevant contracts database such as Ariba, ASL and CMM.
Responsible for the set-up and continuous update of physical contracts files and ensures compliance with general administrative filing procedures as well as Schlumberger standards.
Participates in presentations and workshops related to contracting standards, processes and/or reviews.
Collaborates with the Legal Counsel, as appropriate to ensure contractual risks are clearly identified and properly addressed in contractual provisions.
Assists and supports the Contract Manager and actively participates in all aspects of post-award contract management including (but not limited to) contracts handover, Contract Performance Assessment (CPA), Spend Leakage Contracts Review (SLCR) including follow up of action items of RWPs (in Quest or otherwise).
Work closely in collaboration with other pillars of Shared Services Organisation (SSO) including Procurement & Sourcing, Distribution, Facilities and Construction.
Identifies and proposes improvements to existing contracting procedures.
May be assigned other responsibilities, in addition to or in lieu of those described above, according to the contracts function objectives or needs.

Qualification And Behavior
Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
Degree in Law or equivalent discipline.
Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in relevant roles.
High level of collaboration with others.
Good communication skill, both oral and written.
Must have strong ethics in dealings with sensitive information.
Ability to demonstrate principled leadership with sound business ethics and consistency with principles, values, and behavior
