We are looking for someone with 3 years of experience as QA Head Of Department in manufacturer. You will be supervise teams of inspectors who carry out the detailed assessment of products and their components at different stages of production. Our client is a large Tool Manufacturer in Batam.

Responsibilities:

– In conjunction with engineering and manufacturing personnel, works to resolve problems related to product designs, specifications, materials, tooling, and production operations affecting quality;

-Maintains and improves product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits, investigating customer complaints, collaborating with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs, and manufacturing and training methods;

– Reviews all specifications to assure all supplier information is current and all new inspection and testing is incorporated or revised;

– Develops quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses, identifying critical control points and preventive measures, establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures, monitoring inventories;

– Works closely with suppliers to develop, implement, and execute productivity and cost savings improvements;

– Ensures establishment of quality system and compliance with appropriate procedures in layout, testing receiving inspection, and other quality control related areas.

Requirements:

– Living in Riau  Islands province – preferably in Batam area;

– At least 2 years of experience of which was in Manager or lead role;

– Good knowledge about ISO 9001 as well as 14001;

– Knowledge in drawings – 2D (Dimensional check);

– Diploma or Bachelor degree (S1) in Engineering or other technical discipline;

– Excellent communication and leadership skills, fluent in English both oral and written;

– Team-oriented, flexible with strong leadership skills;

– Able to speak mandarin will be advantage.
