Key Responsibilities:
Prepare internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from departments.
Maintain and balance an accounting system by inputting data; scheduling required jobs; verifying data.
Analyse information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information.
Prepare general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts.
Prepare payments by accruing expenses; assigning account numbers; requesting disbursements; reconciling accounts.
Develop and implement accounting procedures by analysing current procedures; recommending changes.
Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
Provide support to accounting manager by reviewing financial information; converting data to general ledger system; obtaining supplementary information for preparing financial statements.
Protect organisation’s value by keeping information confidential.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organisations.
Accomplishes accounting and organisation mission by completing related results as needed.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proficient in English, Bahasa and Mandarin.
Experience in Management, Accounting, or related field may be preferred of at least 2 years, preferably from the Big 4. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles.
Proficiency with computers, especially bookkeeping software and MS Office.
High level of efficiency and accuracy.
Attention to detail and ability to analyse large amounts of data.
