Corporate Responsibility Lead – Cargill

Main Responsibilities:
The position is the Lead for the Corporate Responsibility/ Community Relations & Conflict Resolution for CTP Plantations

Manage and lead CR initiatives both strategic as well as tactical initiatives with a primary focus on the CTP plantation
Understand and articulate the big picture of CR to dessiminate the rationale and merits of CR commitments of Cargill
Work with the plant management and business managememt team for effective planning and implemnentation of CR and support them to articulate CR, sustainability and guiding principles as business differentiators.
Managing the relationship with Cargill Cares Councils within the business and facilitate formation of new CCCs and communicate their stories with support from Comms lead
Manage and lead relationship with the local partner NGOs and monitor CR projects.
Learn and bring in the best practices from other countries and document success stories.
Help build the corporate brand as an enhanced means of protecting our license to operate for new and existing plants and businesses
Helping deepen community support and engagement in the locations where we operate
Work with the communication lead to disseminate info (internally & externaly) about the CR including projects.

Requirements:
College Degree
Worked for an agriculture or food company in country
Worked for a diversified organization
Managed CR activities in previous jobs
Manage multiple NGO partner relationships
Strategic thought process with execution experience
Exposure to internal and external commumications and indepth understanding of local community dynamics
Communications – both internal and external
Work without much direct supervision by supervisor
CSR program planning and execution
Innovate and open to explore new ideas, projects and approach towards CR

Preferred Qualifications
Transparency, ability to manage multiple programs and stakeholders, good inter-personal communicator, think globally about how issues affect Cargill (over and above the local businesses)
Ability to Influence, Strong Business Accumen, Strong ability to problem solve
Ability to prioritize and find alternate solutions to issues
