We are looking for a thoughtful and responsible engineer for the Driver Platform team who appreciates good engineering and user experience. The person should be passionate about maintaining clean and maintainable codebase. Lastly, someone who can empathize with our drivers for whom our app is the only way of livelihood.
Responsibilities:
Work as part of cross functional, passionate agile project teams to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to delivery
Designing, developing and supporting frameworks for our test infrastructure and providing automation expertise to our development teams
Research, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of increasing automation
Mentor team members on automation
Be meticulous about documentation and maintaining a robust log of all test cases and test results
Ensure that all tests are executed and give regular feedback to the team on the status of quality
Requirements:
Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically automated QA processes in agile development environments
Must-have:
Automation – App Testing – Android
Scripting experience in any static language (like Java)
Experience in scripting automation tests on Appium based frameworks
Manual + Automation – API Testing (Microservices)
Basic Linux Skills
Basic Experience in CI/CD setup – Gitlab CI/Jenkins or any other
Good-to-have:
Scripting experience in any dynamic language (like ruby, python, etc)
Performance Testing using – JMeter, Gatling, Vegeta, etc. Java, TestNG, Appium, REST, Appium(Must), REST-based automation frameworks like RestAssured
JMeter or Gatling (Or relevant tools)
Ruby or Python (or any Dynamic scripting language)
