A high profile plantation company is seeking an experienced civil engineer to manage its established Building & Engineering Department. The role will be based at the Company’s plantations located in East Kalimantan c.4 hours from Samarinda. BUILDING & ENGINEERING MANAGER, REA KALTIM
Building & Engineering Department responsibilities include, among others:
Managing the Building & Engineering Department resource
Managing the Company’s ongoing house building programme – c.100-200 houses per annum
Managing the Company’s ongoing existing house maintenance programme
Project managing the Company’s major civil engineering projects which include new oil palm oil mills, jetties, bridges, storage tanks, roads, schools, clinics, various estate offices and warehouses etc.
Managing the Company’s 3 batako production and pre-cast concrete plants
Civil engineering contract preparation and negotiation
Site civil engineering design, construction, setting-out including monitoring and as-built surveys
Profile of Candidate Required:
The candidate should have a high quality degree from a reputable university. With at least 5 years experience, the ideal candidate will have of a broad range of skill including civil engineering design skills, project management and site engineering and surveying skills.The candidate should also have a good working knowledge of bahasa inggris and be a self-starter with good communication and interpersonal skills
