Job Description

Music teachers are required to instruct students in music applications, both theory and practice. They give to students an overview of the different types of music and lessons about the history of this subject, including the most significant musical time periods. Their classes also include an introduction to some musical instruments, such as drums, piano, guitar etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Fluent in English both oral and written.
Possesses a Bachelor’s Music degree preferred
Enjoys working and has previous experience teaching music, drama, or voice to young children
Has ability to relate well to young children & parents
Strong music fundamentals (sense of pitch, rhythm, harmony)
Musical creativity (improvisation, composition)
Versatility (play and teach various musical style)
Good knowledge of theory and harmony
Can work in a team in organizing and executing events
