WEDDING STATIONERY DESIGNERS
Position Description
As a Wedding Stationery Designer with The Distillery, you would join our Design team and be responsible for the following:
Interpreting wedding stationery design briefs
Designing creative concepts, utilising a range of letterpress papers, accessories, your artistic and creative talents
Processing corrections and adjustments
Refining and finalising artwork, suitable for letterpress printing
Project management, liaising with Distillery Consultants
Understandably, our clients have a high vested interest in the successful outcomes of their projects. For wedding stationery design projects to achieve high quality results, the follow qualities should come second nature to you:
Expert technical capability with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and sketching
Expert understanding & eyes for good typography
Extreme obsession, for attention to detail
Ability to work with tight deadlines
Ability to spell, and notice spelling mistakes
Patience and maturity
Professional resilience in not taking design-adjustments personally
High level communication skills
Ability to guide clients to work effectively with you
In addition to being responsible for custom designed wedding stationery projects, you would also help further develop The Distillery’s Studio Collection of Wedding Stationery. These responsibilities include:
Research and development of stationery styling and production techniques
Creative development, open-ended and brief-based
Packaging, presentation and display
Working Arrangements
Working closely with Distillery’s Client Consultants, you would design and project manage from our studio in Kemang, Jakarta
Depending on your skills, experience and abilities, there are a variety of positions available ranging from freelance contractor, casual and part-time. Due to a recent influx in projects, we are looking to start designers immediately
