Job Purpose:

Responsible for all quality processes in Business Unit Pigment, including SAP/WINS Quality Management process

Main Responsibilities:

Adapt & align the recipes of Globally transferred products
Development of new products & improvement in existing products as per customer / PM / TM requirements
To prepare Product development plan & prioritize the projects in consultation with Mktg / PM
Coordinate with RM / supply chain for raw materials / specifications / MSDS / COA etc
Allocate the projects to respective chemists, planning and execution of projects
Establish lab process & Scaling up as per plant design in consultation with PC lab
Coordinate with production, QA, QC for test plan, specs, PS requirements etc
Monitor trial batches & after successful implementation, hand over to production
Establish lab facility & maintain equipment’s, chemicals, lab stores records

Competencies Required :

Bachelor of Chemistry
Strong technical knowledge in water based application for painting
Understand laboratory organization including equipment’s related
Strong knowledge in paint industry
Well-developed interpersonal skills and professional attitude
English communication is essentials
