We are looking for an ambitious and creative person with a strong drive to develop our client’s business. You will be responsible to create a marketing strategy and to lead the sales and marketing team in executing this marketing strategy to maximize sales for our client – a port management center in Batam.

Responsibilities:
 
– Develop a strategy and marketing plan and annual work program for the marketing department to determine the direction and program for marketing in the coming years;

– Create and supervise the budget for the marketing department for expenses such as website, advertising, commission system, etc.;

– Analyze and review space rental prices and advertising points throughout the facility, develop and implement improvements that could lead to higher sales and turnover;

– Evaluate the monthly and annual performance of the marketing department and work out which measures should be taken in order to improve performance;

– Explore new business opportunities by doing market research on new developments and by following up on important new leads.

Requirements:

– Creative, ambitious and independent marketeer living in Riau Islands province – preferably in Batam;

– Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Economics, Commerce, Marketing, Public Relations or related field;

– At least 5 years of (management) experience in Marketing, Sales or Public Relations;

– Strong vision in marketing, able to generate new leads, attract new clients and develop the business;

– Excellent communication and leadership skills, fluent in English both oral as written.
